Imminent Destruction
The asteroids have moved on, ready to assault their next enemy - Earth. Many thanks to:  for his suggestions. for the planet texture.This is my latest Terragen wallpaper. For some reason I seem to be liking the whole blue/green/yellow theme a lot, so I stuck with it. This took a total of about 12 1/2 hours - 3 hours rendering time in Terragen, 30 minutes to make the asteroids in 3DS, and 9 hours post-processing in Photoshop. It took a while to get the colors and such just right, but I believe it all paid off. And thanks to several suggestions from NiVeDh, I was able to touch up my planet and asteroids to add a little extra flair. I probably could've re-rendered the whole thing with new surface/height maps but that would've taken a while Let me know what you think. Comments/suggestions/+favs welcome. |
